A veteran of over 25 years in the publishing industry, Eduardo has created award-winning products for PreK–12 and higher education in English and Spanish. Eduardo earned a BS in Linguistics from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from UT-Austin McCombs School of Business.

Pedro is a strong advocate for learning in multiple languages, social equity, and recognizing that every child can learn. His 25+ years as an editor in educational publishing cover all learning and curriculum levels—PreK to 16. He holds a BA in Spanish and History from Tufts University.

Joni is an experienced accountant with over 20 years of experience in CFO and Business Management services. A gifted problem solver, Joni loves to dig into a messy spreadsheet or accounting conundrum, where her tenacious spirit guides her to swift resolutions. Joni holds an MBA in Accounting from LSU Shreveport.

Karen has over 25 years of experience in the educational publishing industry, having worked on staff for both publishers and development houses. She has worked as an editorial supervisor and project manager, a developmental editor, a creative content writer, and a consultant.

Julie ClarkSupervising Editor

Julie has spent over 30 years in education and publishing developing curriculum that creates positive, equitable, and culturally responsive learning opportunities. She was an English instructor in France where she taught business English as well as ELT to teens and young adults. She has served as a content writer and editorial lead specializing in K–12 language arts educational materials. Julie has an MA in teaching from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.

Jane has 25 years of experience as a writer, editor, and manager, creating ELA print and digital materials for students and teachers in RLA and Assessment. She holds a PhD in American Literature from The University of Texas at Austin and has 15 years of experience teaching university-level classes in Literature, Popular Culture, and Composition.

Jennifer has taught Spanish to second language learners at the university level and has experience with K–6 Spanish editorial materials geared to literacy development. Jennifer Byron holds a PhD in Spanish Literature and Cultures from Arizona State University and a Bachelors in Spanish and Secondary Education from Marist College.

David has more than 20 years of experience in the K–12 publishing field, managing print and digital projects from concept to completion. He specializes in digital strategy, workflow optimization, and content management. His primary focus is understanding a problem from both a content and technical perspective to find the best solution. David has a BA in philosophy with a concentration in world languages.

Tim has over 25 years of design experience, with more than 20 of them at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as Executive Design Manager. He has been involved with design prototyping of new programs and their navigation systems. He has overseen the conceptualization and development of covers and packaging for PreK–12. Tim holds a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College.

Alison has over 15 years of experience in art and photo production, working with leading academic and commercial publishing houses. She has had the opportunity to work with such notable companies as National Geographic Kids, Penguin Random House, Pearson, and Heinemann. Alison holds a BFA from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA.

Isabel ArnaudArt Buyer/Designer/Illustrator

Isabel has over 20 years of experience in ELT art buying/designing and illustration, working with leading academic and commercial publishing houses. She has had the opportunity to work with such notable companies as Pearson, Richmond Publishing, ASC, University of Dayton Publishing, Santillana, and Rednova Learning. Isabel holds a Diploma in Illustration from the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
